Synechron is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join a well known financial institution in the Post Trade Solutions (PTS) team. The role is key to the team analysing real-world workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with business stakeholders to standardise and automate processes. Your work will directly influence the efficiency, clarity, and agility of their operations.
Role:
- Map and analyse end-to-end workflows, uncover bottlenecks, and manual efforts
- Identify automation, analytics, and AI opportunities in collaboration with engineering
- Translate current processes into well-defined future state models
- Support prioritisation and communicate process changes effectively
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing
Experience:
- Experience in business process analysis, operational analysis, or continuous improvement roles
- Ability to map and clearly explain processes (BPMN, flow diagrams, or equivalent)
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to process mining concepts (event logs, variants, throughput, conformance)
- Experience or interest in business process optimisation or Lean/CI approaches
- Exposure to automation, analytics, machine learning, or AI initiatives
- Ability to interpret operational metrics to support prioritisation
- Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments
Long term contract inside IR35 - x3 days in city office - strong market rates
