We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide business support to the Managers and approximately 120 staff across 3 teams in Bassetlaw, Mansfield, and Newark Hospitals. Your main duties will include processing Hospital referrals, uploading referral information to bespoke systems and ensuring that tracking information is kept up to date.
You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining spreadsheets and collecting statistics as required. Associated tasks will include using electronic systems to maintain and record data, so a good working knowledge of MS Office applications is essential. These are very busy teams and your duties will require you to work to strict deadlines and on your own initiative and be able to communicate well with the managers and staff within the team.
You must have good organisational skills, have good self-motivation and an understanding and ability to follow set policies and processes. You will be dealing with very sensitive information, so you must be aware of following GDPR and maintaining confidentiality at all times. You will be working as part of a wider Business Support team, with colleagues who provide business support in districts across the county. You will be required to provide cross cover as and when necessary.
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
