A confident, motivated and enthusiastic manager is required to supervise and co-ordinate the work of the Education Business Support Teams.
You will be one of a team of four Business Support Officers managing the Business Support service over a large number of teams and sites.
It is essential that the successful candidate possesses advanced ICT skills and has the ability to analyse, streamline and transform processes and work methods. You should be capable of demonstrating leadership, managing change and contribute to the planning and delivery of Business Support – Education.
Duties will include the recruitment, deployment, supervision and day to day management of staff; target setting and quality assurance of outputs as well as overseeing budgets, administrative processes, health and safety and the general operation of the office. Positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills are essential and at least 2 years admin/clerical experience, preferably in a supervisory and staff development role.
You must be able to respond well to pressure, meet deadlines, and have the ability to adhere to and implement policies and procedures.
Nottinghamshire County Council offer hybrid working and there is the expectation that this post will work from home but go into the office on a regular basis.
This post is also available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees. You must seek approval from your line manager before applying.
