Care Assistant Days- Required at Abbey Grange Nursing Home in Sheffield, part of the Country Court Family

Abbey Grange is one of the most respected nursing homes in Sheffield and is led by the Manager, and the highly trained & compassionate team. The home offers specialised residential, dementia & nursing care, with a warm family atmosphere.

About The Care Assistant Role
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Be no stranger to working long shifts
- Have good written & verbal communication skills
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
- Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
