About This Role
Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more.
Be part of a team where passion meets purpose, as we work together where the challenge is greatest to change the lives and build the futures of children and young people.
At Ormiston Latimer Academy, we are looking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and committed Catering Supervisor to lead the daily delivery of our catering provision. This is a key role within our academy, with responsibility not only for Latimer but also supporting catering services across other London academies and off-site provisions within our Trust cluster.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Cluster Executive Chef to ensure high standards of food quality, service, food safety and compliance are consistently achieved. You will supervise and support the catering team, organise day-to-day kitchen operations, contribute to menu planning, manage stock and ordering, and help drive healthy eating, sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced catering professional who is confident leading a team in a busy environment, takes pride in maintaining excellent standards, and understands the importance of providing nutritious, appealing meals that support students to learn and thrive. Strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to teamwork are essential.

Located in Kensington and Chelsea, Ormiston Latimer Academy provides a caring environment based on integrity, mutual respect and understanding. We are a small provision supporting learners who are at risk of, or have been excluded from, mainstream settings. Our specialist approach focuses on developing young people’s capabilities, their potential for employability, their ability to build healthy relationships and to make safe, positive life choices. We believe that success for our young people comes through personalised support, high expectations and strong, trusting relationships.
Our approach considers each learner’s educational experiences to date, their social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, family context and any special educational needs (SEN). We work closely with professionals, families and external agencies to ensure our support is holistic and impactful. We are proud of the caring, supportive and inclusive environment we provide, enhancing our learners’ quality of life and supporting them to realise their aspirations.
