Chartered Valuation Surveyor ? Technical Lead ? Role Overview
We are looking for a Chartered Valuation Surveyor interested in becoming a Technical Leader within the Regional Valuation Unit (Wales & West), to undertake complex and high profile Non Domestic Rating casework.
Our Technical Leaders provide technical advice to colleagues across the network. You will be a technical expert with a natural ability to coach and nurture colleagues undertaking professional qualifications. The role is essential to supporting our future surveying talent pipeline and providing valuable technical advice, leadership, and guidance to the Agency.
The Regional Valuation Unit (RVU) is an exciting, ever-changing environment and will provide you with an excellent opportunity to join our highly skilled, diverse, and growing organisation. You will join a team of experienced colleagues who will share their knowledge and support you to become an integral part of the team. You'll share your own knowledge and experience in our collaborative working environment and can undoubtedly bring a new perspective to the organisation.
The role will primarily deal with NDR Classes where there is a unit wide or cross unit impact due to, for example, reputational of financial risk.
We are eager to hear from experienced Valuation Surveyors with rating and local taxation experience. You will have dealt with a broad range of property types across different valuation methodologies through to valuation tribunal.
