Your Role In Action
- You will be supporting the Head Chef in the planning and provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents.
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Cater to individual preferences and specific medical needs, such as allergies or soft diets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the Care team to ensure mealtimes are enjoyable and fulfilling.
- Contribute to special events, themed days, and celebrations within the service.
- To deputise for head chef during periods of absence
Your Skills And Strengths
- You must have previous experience as a Chef, ideally within a Care, Healthcare or Rehabilitation setting.
- You must have proven knowledge of specialist dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies
