This role will focus on driving safety culture, improving processes, and collaborating and influencing cross-functionally to achieve operational excellence. The EHS Leader will leverage industry trends and best practices to enhance EHS performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the EHS Team, providing mentorship and leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Work closely with site leadership, operations and engineering teams to identify, address, and resolve EHS issues, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Fostering a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
- Take ownership of the GE EHS Framework Management System, ensuring its effective implementation and integration into site operations.
- Develop, lead, and execute site-level risk reduction initiatives to mitigate hazards and improve overall safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to occupational health and safety, and environmental (air, waste and water).
- Manage EHS incidents effectively, including investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and reporting.
- Embrace GE Aerospace lean system (FLIGHT DECK) to continue driving transformational improvements across EHS
- NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent
- Significant EHS experience
- Strong EHS experience within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, or a Science discipline from an accredited university or college
- Contractor management and construction safety (e.g., CDM in UK, local equivalents)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in driving manufacturing health and safety programs
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems using structured methods (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA)
