Our client is a successful, boutique venture capital firm seeking to appoint a Chief of Staff for the first time. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to take on a broad role, directly supporting both the investment team and Head of Finance on a variety of portfolio and finance-related projects.
No two days will be the same however some example responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the investment executives on the portfolio reporting and valuation processes, including developing KPIs and other metrics
- Supporting the Head of Finance with respect to the accounting, reporting, financial control and audit of both the firm and its funds
- Assiting with the preparation of marketing materials and data ahead of the firms next fundraise
- Ad-hoc portfolio company projects, such as helping PortCo founders on an aquistion or bolt-on investment
- Helping to operationalise and create automations within the firm's investment process
Essential Requirements
This role will suit either a:
- A newly qualified ACA emering from a London practice firm (Big 4 or mid-tier)
Moreover you must be bright, personable and amibitious and prepared to take on a broad, 'hands-on' role within a small team envionment.
