Claim Technician

Relentless delivery for the Client in a Global Claims Environment

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Liability and large property Claims Technician to be based in the UK.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our relationship management team, handling Liability claims, Large Loss Property claims and advising on Health and Safety risks, for an International client. We are seeking an individual with experience of handling technical claims and with a capability to communicate clearly within a client relationship management environment.

The role will involve working within a well-established team, managing; Auto, Property and General Liability claims. Your role will i
nvolve; managing Liability claims from first notification of loss through to settlement, managing large Property claims and advising on potential Health and Safety risks that may become apparent through management of the claims. The claims will be of varying value, complexity and geographical location, as the client you will be working for are truly a global organisation. We’ll provide you with the training and tools that you need to help develop your skills and knowledge.

Your role will entail working closely with the client and the client Relationship Manager, including attending meetings to discuss progress of claims within the portfolio of open losses.

We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate excellent communication and active listening skills, along with the ability to convey information clearly, follow agreed processes accurately and maintain precise, up to date data. Proven experience in building and sustaining strong working relationships, both internally and externally, is essential.

The Skills You Will Bring When You Apply

  • Experience in managing Liability and Property claims: Previous claims-handling experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills: You will interact with clients across different geographical locations and time zones, as well as with loss adjusters, suppliers, insurers and third parties. As we work with a global client, the ability to speak more than one language is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities: Accuracy and a proactive approach are key to success in this role.
