Description
Statom Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Class 2 Beavertail Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of heavy plant machinery and equipment. Based out of our Dagenham yard, you'll enjoy a start time between 5am and 7am, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload plant equipment including excavators, rollers, and dumpers
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with all transport legislation
  • Secure loads using chains and straps, ensuring all equipment is safely transported
  • Operate powered access equipment when required for deliveries

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Class 2 driving license and CPC certification
  • NPORS plant mover and load and secure tickets are preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a driving role
  • Experience in the construction industry with knowledge of moving plant equipment (diggers, dumpers, rollers)
  • Flexibility regarding work hours; nights out may occasionally be required
