Description

We’re looking for a commercially driven Client Engagement Manager to help grow Spindogs’ client portfolio while ensuring our existing clients continue to see measurable value from working with us. In this role, you will build strong relationships with both current clients and prospective organisations, identifying opportunities where Spindogs’ expertise can deliver meaningful results.

You will work closely with clients, prospects and internal teams to develop and present solutions that align with client objectives and support Spindogs’ wider business strategy. A strong commercial mindset is essential, as you will play a key role in identifying, nurturing and converting opportunities, both through new business development and by expanding relationships with existing clients.

You will know your client portfolio better than anyone else within Spindogs, championing client needs internally while helping them identify opportunities for growth. This includes developing and presenting account strategies, managing your pipeline and reporting progress to senior leadership, while also collaborating with colleagues across the business to create compelling proposals and pitches.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, balancing multiple opportunities and accounts while prioritising effectively.

This role is based in Cardiff with a hybrid working arrangement. You’ll be expected to be within a commutable distance of the office and spend at least two days per week onsite, working closely with both you and the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities that align with client needs and Spindogs’ strategic goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and prospects
  • Experience contributing to business development activities such as pitches, proposals and networking
  • Confidence presenting ideas and solutions to both clients and internal stakeholders
  • An understanding of the digital landscape and how digital solutions can support client objectives
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively
  • The ability to collaborate across teams and draw on the expertise of colleagues to develop the best solutions

  • Your responsibilities will include:

    • Identifying, seeking out and nurturing new opportunities that align with Spindogs’ values, capabilities and commercial objectives
    • Representing Spindogs professionally in new business acquisition, networking, relationship building and marketing activities
    • Developing strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their success remains at the centre of the solutions we propose
    • Managing and developing your own client portfolio and opportunity pipeline, reporting progress to senior leadership
    • Working collaboratively with internal teams to develop proposals, pitches and strategic responses to client opportunities
    • Advocating for the client experience internally and ensuring client needs are clearly understood across teams
    • Supporting the Head of Client Engagement with improvements to internal and external processes where the team has a touchpoint
    • Regularly contributing to workshops that review and refine Client Engagement systems and processes to ensure they remain effective and conversion-focused
  • Helping drive a company-wide culture of strong client engagement and commercial awareness
  •
