Excelra is scaling its Scientific Informatics business — and we're looking for a commercially exceptional individual to own our UK territory.
This isn't a quota-carrier role. It's a seat at the table.
You'll engage Heads of Informatics, VP R&D, Chief Data Officers, and IT leadership as a genuine peer — backed by a world-class delivery organisation already trusted by 16 of the top 20 global pharma companies.

This role is highly specific. To be considered, you MUST have:
✅ A proven track record selling Scientific Informatics solutions (LIMS, ELN, SDMS, Scientific Data Management, or AI/ML for R&D) to global Pharma, Biotech, CRO, or adjacent life science organisations
✅ An active senior-level network in the UK/EU life science R&D informatics space — relationships you can activate from day one
✅ Deep understanding of drug development processes and the ability to engage credibly with scientific and technical stakeholders
✅ Experience owning the full commercial cycle end-to-end — prospecting through close
❌ Applications without life science informatics sales experience will not be progressed
❌ This is not a generalist SaaS, pharma rep, or IT sales role

🌍 WHAT YOU'LL OWN
─────────────────────────────
→ New business acquisition across Pharma, Biotech, CRO and adjacent verticals
→ A territory plan aligned to Excelra's global GTM — with real autonomy to shape it
→ Advisory relationships with senior client stakeholders across R&D, Manufacturing, and IT
→ Contribution to Excelra's GTM strategy in areas like AI/ML-driven R&D, knowledge graphs, and cloud-native lab informatics
📈 Success in 12 months = 3–5x pipeline coverage, first new logos closed independently, and trusted relationships established across priority accounts.

→ MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific or technical field
→ Hands-on familiarity with platforms such as LabVantage, IDBS, Dotmatics, Benchling, or BIOVIA
→ Exposure to regulatory frameworks — GxP, FAIR data, or 21 CFR Part 11
→ Previous experience in a high-growth, scale-up environment
