2x Offshore Client Representative: Array Cable Installation


🟢Contract Duration: 26 July 2026 – 31 August 2027

⚫ Rotation: 14/14

🟢 Offshore: Cable Lay Vessel / Installation Support Vessel


We are supporting a major offshore wind developer and now seeking two experienced Offshore Client Representatives to join the team for array cable loadout, lay and pull in operations.


Reporting directly to the Offshore Installation Manager (Array Cable Installation), you will act as the client’s primary representative on board the assigned vessel throughout key installation activities.


Role Overview

You will be the on site client presence during array cable installation activities, ensuring contractors deliver safely, efficiently, and in line with approved procedures, quality expectations and project requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

🟢 Maintain accurate daily records of all installation activities.

⚫ Ensure contractors follow approved procedures and risk assessments.

🟢 Promote proactive safety and quality management.

⚫ Lead by example and uphold project and organisational values.


Tasks

🟢 Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and ensure all required signatures.

⚫ Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documentation before execution phase.

🟢 Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and other operational discussions.

⚫ Be present during all key installation activities where safely possible.

🟢 Monitor and screen contractor installation progress reporting tools.

⚫ Participate in joint safety walks with HSE teams.

🟢 Support incident reporting via project reporting tools.


Deliverables

⚫ Daily recording of all cable lay and installation activities.

Submission of completed, signed DPRs.

🟢 Immediate escalation of any safety, quality or procedural deviations.

⚫ Reporting on contractor equipment condition and maintenance programmes.


🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory

🟢 Valid GWO certificates: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling

⚫ HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET + EBS (STASS, HEED, or EBS)

OEUK (or equivalent) medical, including Chester Step IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent HSE training)

🟢 Minimum 5 years’ offshore power cable installation experience (loadout, lay, pull in at OCS/WTG)
