The Clinical Assessor & Educator plays a key leadership role in strengthening clinical practice, competency, and professional development across Jewish Cares Care Homes and Retirement Living Services.
This role combines clinical education, competency assessment, quality improvement, and complex clinical assessment activity to ensure staff are equipped to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
The postholder will develop and deliver training programmes, support reflective practice, contribute to clinical governance processes, and provide expert guidance on clinical standards and risk management.
They will also undertake holistic assessments to support safe and appropriate admissions into Jewish Care services.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Assessor & Educator to lead clinical education and competency development across our Care Homes and Retirement Living Services.
The role involves delivering training and coaching to registered nurses, care staff, and support teams, supporting clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
You will also undertake complex clinical assessments to support safe admissions into Jewish Care services, working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will hold current NMC registration, have experience in clinical education or mentorship, and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and clinical assessment skills.
This role will work across multiple sites.
