Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people in mental health crisis?
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is recruiting a compassionate Band 6 Clinical Associate Psychologist (CAP) to join the CAMHS Crisis Team. Applicants must hold an MSc in Clinical Associate Psychology (Children and Young People).
The team delivers rapid, trauma-informed support to young people experiencing acute mental health distress across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
You will support young people and families at times of high vulnerability, providing psychologically informed crisis care.
Under the supervision of a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will complete structured assessments, contribute to formulations, and deliver brief evidence based interventions to stabilise crisis presentations and support recovery.
You will also contribute to risk assessment, safety planning, and service quality.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, psychiatrists, support workers, and partners in education and social care.
