Clinical Lead Dental Nurse

What Your Day Will Look Like

You will:

• Provide high-quality chairside assistance, including a minimum of two clinical days per week.
• Lead, mentor, and support the dental nursing team, setting clear standards and expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations to ensure smooth, efficient clinical workflows.
• Maintain exemplary infection control standards and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Manage nursing rotas, staffing levels, and workflow planning to support productivity and calm delivery.
• Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of junior dental nurses.
• Work collaboratively with clinicians, Treatment Coordinators, and management to deliver a seamless patient journey.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and service excellence.

Essential

• GDC registered Dental Nurse.
• Extensive experience in a private or mixed dental practice.
• Decent level of experience in a leadership or senior nursing role.
• Strong understanding of clinical standards, compliance, and infection control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, patient-focused mindset with a calm, confident presence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-end clinical environment.

Desirable

• Sedation and implant nursing qualification or experience.
• Experience supporting performance, training, and team development.
