An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Spinal Deformity Service for a band 7 lead Spinal Deformity Clinical Nurse Specialist.

The Main Responsibilities For The Post Holder Include
- Supporting both adult and paediatric patients through spinal deformity surgery
- Pre-assessment of paediatric spinal deformity patients and ensuring pre-optimisation for surgery to ensure the best outcome.
- Nurse-led clinics including telephone clinics
- Orthotic brace clinics
- Providing specialist education to nurses and allied healthcare professionals involved with the care of spinal deformity patients
- Contributing to and provide specialist nursing input to MDT meetings including discussions about patients with complex medical / care needs
