Description

Would you like to work alongside other friendly, enthusiastic and supportive psychological therapists in Adult Community Mental Health in Bolsover in Derbyshire? We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist, Band 7 (Preceptorship) or 8a, depending on experience, with progression by appraisal.

Our team of Psychologists & Psychological therapists are passionate about developing services that create meaningful change based on lived experience, so that people flourish, feel connected and empowered to pursue their aspirations.

We have an 0.6wte (22.5 hours per week) role available in the Bolsover CMHT.We warmly welcome enquiries for a chat about options and your interests.

Person specification

Training and Qualifications

Essential

  • Post-graduate doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 or those in lateral transfer) as accredited by the B.P.S., and giving eligibility for Chartered status of B.P.S.
  • Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC

Desirable

  • Post qualification training in a therapy model
  • Post qualification training in supervision of other psychologists
  • Experience

    Essential

    • Experience of working with clients with a range of mental health problems in a broad range of settings

    Desirable

    • Expertise and interest in a specialist area relevant to adult mental health
