The post will be wholly within the CRDC, but with agreement there may be reciprocal support of Clinical Research Facility and Infectious Disease Studies. We seek self-starters who are able to work within and support a highly successful multidisciplinary research delivery team and who wants to gain experience in delivery of commercial clinical research in a Trust which is world-renowned for its research. There will be opportunity to be an Associate PI and be involved in all aspects of study delivery
You will have the opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in setting up clinical studies, in addition to their management and delivery, with a diverse studies across a wide range of medical. Working in a supportive environment as part of a highly experienced research team, you will receive the necessary research training to enable you to deliver a diverse clinical research portfolio.
You will be responsible for helping the team to deliver a diverse portfolio of research, from observational to Investigational Medical Product, diagnostic and biopsy studies, with a major focus on respiratory, metabolic, cardiovascular studies. There will be opportunity to develop surgical skills. You will be involved in all aspects of clinical research delivery, from study set up to delivery and final reporting.
