Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gosport for a Clinical Safety Officer. The Clinical Safety Officer will oversee and manage clinical safety activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing safety strategies, implementing patient safety frameworks, monitoring incident reports, and providing training to staff on safety protocols. The role also involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of safety and ensure continuous quality improvement in healthcare practices.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in clinical safety management, risk assessment, and safety protocols
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams
  • Understanding of relevant healthcare regulations and standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as nursing, healthcare management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in NHS or healthcare settings is preferred
  • Commitment to ensuring patient safety and enhancing healthcare quality
