Are you ready to lead and innovate? We’re looking for a dynamic Band 7 Healthcare Scientist (Audiology)/Chief Audiologist to take on the role of Lead Audiologist within our Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at James Paget Hospital.
This is a great opportunity to shape and deliver high-quality audiology services in a modern, patient-focused environment. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of audiology services within the CDC, ensuring exceptional care and streamlined pathways for our patients.

Although based in the Audiology department, your role will be to ensure the day-to-day delivery of the Audiology service in the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) including the supervision of junior staff and undertaking the diagnostic assessment of patients referred on Paediatric, Adult and Tinnitus pathways. The post may also include undertaking rehabilitation on all patient groups at the main Audiology site.
You will lead and be actively engaged in the UKAS IQIPS accreditation. You will also take part in the quality assurance, audit and peer review of the audiology service.
The post is full time, but there is the opportunity to work flexible hours within a 4/5 day week or 9 day fortnight.
