Job Title: Clinical Supply Distribution & Logistics Lead

Reports to Manager Job Title: Head of Clinical Supply Modernization and Stability Hub

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)

Opportunity

As a Clinical Supply Distribution & Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for the design, management, and continuous improvement of global clinical supply distribution strategies. You will oversee all logistical aspects of clinical materials — from setup to delivery — ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective execution. This is a dynamic role at the intersection of operations, quality, and strategy, offering the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and make a measurable impact on Menarini Group's oncology portfolio.

Responsibilities

Design and manage global distribution and logistics strategies for clinical supplies.

Collaborate with Clinical Supply Managers, Quality, and CMOs to develop efficient distribution models.

Work with Finance and tax consultants to define logistics frameworks (e.g., Incoterms, tariff codes, etc.).

Oversee distribution setup with CMOs and manage R&D CMC shipments as needed.

Monitor shipment progress, logistics data, and report to internal stakeholders.

Build and maintain depot networks and courier partnerships to support global reach.

Support RFP processes with input on distribution and logistics requirements.

Provide input and testing for Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems.

Ensure accurate and timely resolution of temperature excursions, product complaints, and related site issues.

Contribute to SOP and work instruction development and support vendor invoice processing in SAP.

Travel up to 25% as needed for project and vendor oversight.

Skills/Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (science, supply chain, logistics, or related discipline).
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in clinical supply, logistics, or project management roles.

Proven expertise managing complex, global clinical trial distribution networks.

Experience in GMP environments within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CMO settings.

Oncology experience preferred.

Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP and Smartsheet preferred.

In-depth knowledge of global logistics best practices and regulatory standards (FDA, ICH, etc.).

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a global, cross-functional environment.

Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
