Description
We are looking to recruit a clinical support worker to join our established nursing team. We are looking for Clinical Support Workers who are motivated and want to make a difference to patient outcomes and wish to join our welcoming team.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity of work in an acute environment allowing them to develop their skills in trauma orthopaedics.

Ward 10 is a 22 bedded orthopaedic unit which specialises in providing care for trauma patients undergoing complex total hip and total knee replacements, along with other upper and lower limb surgery.

  • Provide and support patients as necessary with both personal and clinical care activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of the patient’s care, documenting as appropriate on the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner) in line with Trust, professional and departmental guidelines.
  • Observe patients and reports any changes to a Registered professional for review.
  • Report any abnormal findings directly to the registered professional in charge or doctor.
  • Undertake a range of basic housekeeping, stock control and administrative duties within the clinical environment.
