Role Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner with strong knowledge of Siemens control systems to join our growing team in St Ives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines while maintaining high precision and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines with Siemens controls
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Produce high-precision components to required tolerances
• Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensure adherence to health & safety standards
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements
• Proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Strong experience with Siemens control systems
• Ability to program, set, and operate CNC lathes
• Experience working with various materials (steel, aluminium, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Candidates available for immediate start will be given preference
Location: Unit 3, Enfield Court, Nuffield Road, PE27 3NJ, St Ives, United Kingdom
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per year (depending on experience)
Holiday: 22 days annual leave
