About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Director to lead and accelerate revenue growth across our organisation. This is a pivotal executive role, responsible for shaping and delivering our revenue strategy across sales, marketing, customer acquisition, partnerships, product, and talent development.
The Commercial Director will play a key role in strengthening long-term, sustainable growth for the business, helping to expand our impact in the early years sector. Reporting directly to the CEO and operating as a core member of the executive leadership team, the Commercial Director will have significant influence over the company’s commercial direction and financial performance.
The Commercial Director will develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals, ensuring all revenue-generating activity is cohesive and high-performing. They will lead, inspire, and develop commercial and talent teams, oversee workforce planning and recruitment, and strengthen the organisation’s employer brand. The Commercial Director will drive operational excellence through forecasting, budgeting, performance management, and sales operations, while identifying opportunities for innovation, market expansion, and new revenue streams. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Commercial Director will contribute to company-wide strategy, manage revenue-related risks, champion a customer-first and collaborative culture, and provide clear, insightful reporting to the CEO and Board, ensuring long-term growth and a meaningful impact on the children, families, and communities we serve.
