About Your Role

This role involves supporting complex and fast‑paced commercial work, where no two days are the same. You will quickly absorb information, identify key issues, and advise the business on both legal and broader project considerations. Working closely with bid and delivery teams, you will engage directly with clients and their legal representatives, acting as a key point of contact during transactions. The role requires strong commercial awareness and the ability to enable successful outcomes. You will join a highly valued Commercial Team recognised for its collaborative approach and contribution to the organisation’s strategic goals.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Providing business-focused legal advice to senior stakeholders across all Lines of Service, Industries and Sectors
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including professional and IT services, and licensing and outsourcing
  • Shaping our contractual relationships with our strategic alliance partners
  • Negotiating and advising on complex global frameworks and coordinating inter‑firm arrangements across member firms

This Role Is For You If

  • You have detailed knowledge of English law with at least five years’ post‑qualification experience (or equivalent) in a commercial legal environment
  • You have broad experience advising on IT contracts and a range of commercial agreements
  • You understand government or public‑sector contracting (beneficial but not essential)
  • You have strong drafting skills and ability to manage complex negotiations using sound commercial judgment
  • You have an awareness of wider commercial and reputational considerations influencing each deal
  • You are adaptable, collaborative, and inclusive approach, with well‑developed influencing skills and the confidence to become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
