Commissioning Engineer

Permanent Role

Required Skills:


  • Hands-on commissioning experience with electrical installations, from panel wiring to full systems integration
  • Confident in operating plant and equipment supporting signal generation and testing
  • Knowledge of working in the water industry or other process-driven environments
  • Strong communication skills to support clear documentation and stakeholder updates
  • Commitment to safety and compliance in all tasks
  • Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., 2382 or 2391)
  • Willingness to obtain SSSTS certification if not already held

Nice to Have Skills:


  • Experience supporting MCC installations and rotating equipment
  • Familiarity with end-to-end signal testing procedures
  • Additional certifications relevant to electrical or commissioning work

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Electrical qualification or equivalent technical training
  • Practical experience in commissioning within an industrial or water sector environment

Other Requirements:


  • Availability to travel across Scotland for site visits
  • Adherence to health and safety standards and protocols
  • Openness to gaining SSSTS certification if not already obtained
