Job Description

The Communications and Marketing Executive plays a key role in shaping UKMC’s brand presence across digital and offline channels. This is a dynamic and creative role responsible for producing high‑quality content, managing social media activity, and supporting marketing initiatives that increase visibility, engagement, and student recruitment.

Working closely with the wider marketing, design, and events teams, the postholder will help deliver a consistent and compelling communications strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, thrives in a collaborative environment, and uses data‑driven insights to refine and improve campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and develop UKMC’s social media channels, ensuring consistent, engaging, and on‑brand messaging.
* Create high‑quality content for social media, email campaigns, websites, events, and printed materials.
* Draft, edit, and proofread blogs, press releases, articles, and short‑form content.
* Work alongside an in‑house graphic designer to produce creative assets for digital and print use.
* Build and manage a communications calendar covering social media, email, and website activity.
* Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns, using analytics to guide strategy.
* Stay up to date with new marketing trends, platforms, and technologies.
* Support wider marketing activity, including events, student recruitment, and promotional campaigns.

Knowledge and Experience

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role.
* Proven experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.).
* Hands‑on experience with email marketing tools, ideally HubSpot.
* Demonstrated success in delivering social media communication and campaigns.
* Strong analytical skills with confidence interpreting data to shape decision‑making.
* Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing; experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and tools.
* Experience using analytics platforms to track performance and ROI.
