Description

Location: Hybrid working (two days per week in Cambridge office)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Job Summary

We are seeking a Communications and Marketing Officer to lead the delivery of CAVA’s communication and marketing strategy. This is a pivotal role within our small and ambitious team. You will strengthen our brand visibility, enhance stakeholder engagement and support sustainable growth through creative, strategic and data-informed communications.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver CAVA’s communication strategy including targeted messaging and promotional materials
  • Manage and maintain social media channels to promote CAVA qualifications
  • Manage and develop the CAVA website
  • Create digital content suitable for social media, website and marketing
  • Use AI tools appropriately to enhance content creation and efficiency.
  • Use email marketing to communicate with the CAVA community including monthly newsletter and project launches
  • Design and deliver targeted marketing campaigns
  • Report on and optimise marketing analytics
  • Organise and deliver the CAVA annual conference (online/in person), including logistics, marketing and communications
  • Lead key projects such as the CAVA Awards
  • Support Quality Team training events with presentation materials, communication and promotion
  • Build relationships with member marketing colleagues
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to promote CAVA interests and to grow the CAVA brand
  • Collaborate with CAVA members to collect student stories and promotional materials
  • Support CAVA’s new business development by coordinating communications and networking opportunities
  • Administer and facilitate working group meetings
  • Promote and adhere to CAVA’s organisational values
  • Any other duties appropriate to the role and deemed necessary for the effective operation of CAVA.
