We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Community Fundraiser to join our dedicated, experienced and growing team of professionals as we embark on a journey of expansion.

Our facilities provide a state-of-the-art base within the grounds of Keele University, Staffordshire, with the option of informal homeworking arrangements up to 40% of working week after passing probation.
POST OUTLINE
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment within a developing service. It is a key role within the Fundraising Team pioneering the launch of community fundraising income and developing local connections and supporters, serving to feed into the charity’s other fundraising income lines.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Community Fundraiser will be responsible for raising funds through cultivating relationships with local supporters and recruiting fundraising volunteers. They will be required to work alongside the Director of Income Generation to create and deliver the Community Fundraising strategy.
They will need to carefully plan and deliver a regional approach to community engagement by galvanizing existing community groups and networks and proactively recruiting new supporters to choose Caudwell Children for their own fundraising activities, offering advice and support to encourage successful fundraising and repeat, long term support.
This role is crucial for driving community engagement and financial support for the Charity, making it essential for candidates to be motivated, professional and passionate about the cause they represent.
