Our client, based in Luton, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Support Worker on an initial one-month temporary contract, with the potential for it to be extended.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and the hourly rate is £17.00 on an umbrella basis,
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering person-centred support to individuals experiencing complex needs, including mental health issues, substance misuse, and trauma
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing personalised support and risk management plans
- Collaborating with external agencies such as mental health services, social care teams, housing providers, and other relevant organisations
- Supporting clients in maintaining tenancies and navigating housing systems
- Promoting independence by assisting clients in developing daily living skills and engaging in meaningful, recovery-focused activities
- Monitoring living environments to ensure safety and compliance with health, safety, and legal standards
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
- Enhanced DBS certificate (issued within the past 3 years and registered online)
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Previous experience working in a care or supported housing background
- Hands on experience delivering housing-related support services
- Confident working with vulnerable individuals in a fast-paced environment
Working hours:
- Full time (40 hours a week) – in office
- Monday – Friday
- Shifts: 7.00am – 3.00pm, 2.00pm – 10.00pm, 9.30am – 7.30pm
