About The Team And The Role
As a Compliance Analyst, you will report to the Code Compliance Officer (CCO) and provide support for delivering across the compliance programme. You will be working cross-functionally across the various departments of the organisation to ensure widespread understanding and application of compliance requirements and best practices. This will include training and supporting colleagues, working with functional teams to ensure their processes and projects are in line with the required standards, identifying potential gaps and supporting with the development of appropriate remediation plans. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop our compliance strategy as our organisation continues to grow and mature.
What You’ll Do
The role will naturally flex depending on the mix of activities at any particular time, with the key accountabilities as follows: –
- Identify gaps in current business procedures and work with functional teams to develop the necessary remediation steps to ensure compliance with processes and standards
- Support the development, delivery and tracking of training to colleagues, including annual refresher programmes and trainer-led sessions
- Ensure colleagues are supported with queries they may have relating to ways of working
- Provide support with any investigation that arises from an internal issue or an external complaint from a third party, such as a customer or supplier
- Support the tracking and reporting of information to the regulator and other internal governance groups
- Liaise with teams to develop, manage and maintain company policies and processes
Who You Are
- Understanding and experience of compliance from working within or outside this function
- Experience working in a corporate environment and ideally in the retail field
- Ability to engage with senior management, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Project management, business change or process change experience
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and willingness to develop new skills
- Excellent planning, organising and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
