What The Day Will Look Like

This role sits within our UK Risk & Compliance function and supports our Commercial Risk business and you’ll play a key role in helping the business understand, embed and meet FCA expectations.

Your Day May Include

• Acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for risk and compliance queries across various business units within Commercial Risk, offering clear, practical oversight, advice and challenge.

Helping build awareness and understanding of regulatory developments, including the impact of Consumer Duty on ASME operations.

Collaborating with colleagues across Risk & Compliance to ensure Commercial Risk has access to the right second‑line expertise.

Attending Solution Unit management committees and regular business review sessions, providing insight, advice and second‑line challenge where needed.

Facilitating periodic risk assessments in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Supporting product oversight activities as a second‑line challenger using tools such as OneView.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Proven experience working in an FCA‑regulated commercial insurance industry, ideally within retail broking environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and the ability to translate these into clear, practical business guidance.
• Experience supporting product oversight, distribution, digital engagement or Consumer Duty implementation.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing effectively and navigating complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory topics for a wide range of audiences.
