Job Description
Projects Delivery Unit is seeking an experienced and energetic Schools Compliance and Data Management Officer to work alongside its team of professionals to support the school (site management) compliance and PDU data management teams.
The successful applicant will be based in Perceval House and working around the borough of Ealing and will need to be highly self-motivated and possessing a firm attention to detail.
This is a full-time and permanent post, substantively office based with frequent site visits and with a minimum requirement of 2 days per week in the office/on site.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Organise, prepare, complete and report on Schools Maintenance (Compliance) Surveys at approximately 65 sites within London Borough of Ealing.
Carry out timely data collection and administration for Schools Net Capacity returns.
Support the Asset Manager in collection of key maintenance documents from Ealing schools.
Perform a key role in maintaining the PDU project database.

This is a varied, exciting role which will give the successful candidate experience in school maintenance procedures, data collection and an opportunity to work alongside and provide important assistance to the PDU project team.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be an effective communicator and be comfortable working with all levels of school staff and with challenging situations.
- Be adaptable and have a flexible working style with the ability to effectively manage your own workload.
- Have experience in working with maintenance (and other) compliance requirements within an educational setting.
- Be able to identify erroneous documentation and to check your own work.
- Understand the importance of displaying the correct values and behaviours when conducting council business in school and children’s centre settings.
- Be approachable and offer important and appropriate assistance to Ealing Council school staff.
- Want to learn new skills and be challenged by new, unfamiliar tasks.
