Compliance Officer

We are currently partnering with a public sector organisation based in Birmingham, who are recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join their team on a temporary contract, initially for 4-months, with potential to be extended.

This is a full-time position (37 hours per week), and will require 3 days in the office in Birmingham, and offer 2 days home working.

The position is offering an hourly rate of circa £20 per hour via an Umbrella company, and the hiring manager is looking to interview and get someone started as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing advice and guidance in relation to compliance on externally funded projects
• Assisting on audits and data with the central site
• Supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of project management to maximise the robustness of the data to meet audit requirements
• Producing review reports and establishing systems needed to monitor performance
• Attending project review meetings to report on potential areas for risk, and recording actions

Experience required:

• Public sector experience desirable
• Highly competent within compliance, particularly around audit and risk
• Previous experience using SharePoint is highly advantageous

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday
