We are the UK's aviation and aerospace regulator and recognised as a world leader in its field. Our activities are diverse, enabling the aviation industry to meet the highest safety standards, and we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to the constantly evolving aviation environment.
The Role
The Aviation Security (AvSec) Group plays a vital role in ensuring that all participants in the UK aviation industry are kept safe and secure. This is aided by the Aviation Security Compliance (ASC) Team and their oversight of airports, airlines, and other aviation partners to ensure their compliance with globally established aviation security regulation. The group’s responsibilities include conducting security observations, inspections, audits, and tests which enables the Secretary of State for Transport to meet their legal obligations.
The role of the Compliance Support Administrator is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in aviation.
This role is essential to ensuring that ASC works efficiently, has a degree of resilience, and delivers in line with the business’s strategic objectives. More specifically, this position is part of the ASC’s Business Support Team, it’s focus is on administrative tasks but also strategic improvement activity.
As the Compliance Support Administrator, you will track and support the progress of departmental projects, and day to day programmes. To this end we will actively encourage you to use your own initiative and suggest improvements that will help us be more efficient and better able to meet our legislative requirements. If you’ve got experience in administration and are looking to build your career in a supportive yet challenging environment, then this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Relocation & Property
The CAA will be relocating from Aviation House (Our Gatwick Office) to new premises in a few years’ time. Our move is driven by strategic, operational and environmental considerations.
