Company Description
Avon Network Events is the UK office of Advanced Business Events (ABE), a leading provider of international industrial business conventions, combining bespoke B2B networking opportunities with world-class conferences.
Headquartered in Paris with offices and consultants globally, we produce around 30 events a year, ranging in size and industry scope. The sectors we cover include aerospace; space and defence; aviation; automotive; rail; maritime; advanced and additive manufacturing and composite materials.
The ABE turnkey service of one-to-one meetings offers participants a wide range of potential clients and business partners. Our teams work to bring together the suppliers, decision makers, contractors, technology providers and key stakeholders in the relevant industry supply chains to ensure all event participants come away satisfied.
Role Description
We are currently looking for a Conference Producer who will work as part of our UK team to develop high-level conference programmes for our events internationally. The events in question will be focused on new technologies and global advancements across the aerospace, defence, space, maritime and automotive manufacturing sectors.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in the City of Bristol, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. The primary responsibilities include conducting market research, developing conference content, recruiting and managing speakers, and overseeing conference project timelines. The role also involves partnering with marketing and event management teams to ensure the success of each event.
We are looking for a driven and ambitious team player who has a passion for delivering outstanding events and is excited to bringing new ideas and a positive attitude to the table. While this role is primarily focussed on conference production, as a small team there are always opportunities to get involved in other areas of event management that may be of interest, such as marketing and logistics.
