Location: Penrith with homeworking

Contract: 3 Years Fixed term (with a view to extend to full five years)

About This Opportunity

Were looking for Contract Manager to support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme. Youll lead on managing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, strong partner relationships, and high-quality service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, variations, and extensions.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, council policies, procurement rules, and DWP requirements.
• Track deliverables, KPIs, milestones, and financial obligations.

Lead and monitor Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails.

Build strong relationships with delivery partners and internal teams.

Identify and mitigate contractual and performance risks.

Support financial forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement.
