Description
The Construction Solicitor will be:
* Advising on a broad range of non contentious construction matters
* Drafting and negotiating standard form construction contracts including JCT, NEC, IChemE and FIDIC
* Working with developers, contractors, employers and subcontractors across major projects
* Assisting with construction disputes and contentious matters where required
* Working closely with colleagues across commercial property and wider teams
* Advising clients across retail, education, transport, energy, utilities, water and power sectors
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Working on business development initiatives and networking opportunities
Profile
The Construction Solicitor should be / have;
* A solicitor with 0-2 years PQE
* A trainee solicitor with a completed seat in construction will also be considered
* Interested in developing a career in construction law within a large regional firm
* Experienced or knowledgeable in non contentious construction matters
* Familiar with standard form construction contracts including JCT and NEC
* Commercially minded with strong communication skills
