Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant to join our Cloud Networking and Security team. An Xtravirt Consultant understands a situation, employs an objective manner that builds trust and confidence, then applies honesty, integrity, professionalism, tools and communication skills to meet or exceed customer goals and expectations in a managed way that enables the customer to achieve success through their technical and business defined outcomes.

What Will the Successful Candidate Be Like?

You will show strong expertise in the VMware by Broadcom portfolio, working with enterprise customers to evangelise, design and implement solutions tailored to their specific needs. Your role focuses on understanding each customers landscape and shaping solutions that address core business objectives, not just technical requirements. You will guide customers through emerging technologies and support them in navigating todays complex digital environments. This includes creating optimal architecture designs, data centre operations and end-to-end computing solutions. As a key customer-facing Consultant, you will also contribute to pre-sales activities by helping develop technical proposals when required.

Key Responsibilities And Core Objectives

  • Lifecycle customers: The role supports Xtravirts strategy and team plans by championing, identifying and driving opportunities to support transition, growth and retention of customers to lifecycle relationships, collaborating with other teams to achieve the collective goal.
  • Customer success: You are also a key contributor to ongoing success for our customers, customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Scoring targets.

Qualifications and Experience Essential

Requirements

Youll be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding and knowledge of the VMware core infrastructure and NSX and have engaged with enterprise customers to evangelise, design and implement solutions based on the customers specific use case and requirements. The position requires deep technical knowledge along with strong communication skills. You will be able to lead with hands-on skills from gathering requirements and solution design, to deployment and operational readiness, and have significant experience across multiple product areas such as:

Cloud Networking and Security

  • NSX-T
  • IDS / IPS
  • NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi Networks)
  • Network Insight (vRNI)

Qualifications and Experience Desirable
