This post is for 10PAs + on-call commitments for 1 year, covering Trauma and elective Hand & Wrist services.
The post holder will be part of a team of 17 consultants providing a comprehensive emergency trauma and elective orthopaedic service.
Elective work, including outpatients and theatres, takes place at St Albans City Hospital. Trauma and non-elective work, including fracture clinics, are based at Watford General Hospital. Timings for clinics and theatre sessions are coordinated to allow adequate travel time between sites. The department is well-staffed across both locations, supporting consistent and high-quality care.

This post is for 10PAs + on-call commitments for 1 year, covering Trauma and elective Hand & Wrist services. The on-call Rota will be 1 in 8 for weekdays (Monday through Thursday) and 1 in 13 for weekends (Friday through Sunday).
