Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic consultant to join our team of Neonatologists at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful applicant will join an integrated team of 21 (19 NHS including neonatal transport and 2 Academic) Consultants, 1 Associate specialist, 2 Specialty doctors and 12 middle grade Trainees including neonatal grid and SPIN trainees providing neonatal care within Nottingham. The post will be based at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The post is suitable for either an experienced Neonatologist with a CCT in Paediatrics (Neonatal Medicine) or equivalent or a senior trainee within 6 months of CCT in Paediatrics (Neonatal Medicine) or equivalent.

The Nottingham Neonatal Service serves well over 10,000 Nottingham births per year. It also provides the regional services to the northern part of East Midlands Operational Delivery Network (EM-ODN) comprising of 23,000 deliveries per year plus tertiary work from a total of around 32,000 births. The Service is well supported by pharmacy, dietetics, physiotherapy, paediatric radiology and neuro-radiology services and has access to the full range of paediatric specialist opinion through the Nottingham Children’s Hospital.
