This is a Consultant Diabetes and Endocrinologist position for 10 Programmed Activities per week with an additional PA available subject to negotiation and will include participation in a 1:8 hot week on-call. Teaching and participation in audit and research interest are encouraged.
The post holder will join an existing team of dynamic Consultants and to undertake OPD and IP activities at Walsall Manor Hospital NHS Trust and given the skill sets, may participate in the development of services.
The Diabetes and Endocrinology department have a robust programme for mentoring the new Consultant appointment: the successful candidate will have a clear designated supervisor within the departments and appraisal annually with set PDPs.
