Description
PURPOSE

As a Content Design (formatting) Quality Specialist in IQVIA Language Solutions you will work closely with the Language Quality Specialist Manager as well as with the Head of Quality and Compliance and the Content Design Team. You will provide continued monitoring of the quality of our global pool of Content Design suppliers, in order to maintain and improve formatting standards within IQVIA Language Solutions and ultimately boost overall quality output.

The Content Design Quality Specialist is a proactive member of the Quality team, contributing to deliver globally an efficient quality management service to internal staff, external resources, and clients. The Content Design Quality Specialist will report to the Language Quality Specialist Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Trigger Quality Feedback Reports and improvement plans on selected resources, liaising with all stakeholders (Content Design Specialists. Project Managers, Quality team, External Vendors, Talent Managers, etc.)
  • Analyze formatting quality issues and work on global and local improvement plans with Content Design Team
  • Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions & preventive actions for Content Design resources
  • Participate in meetings with vendors to address formatting quality issues and preventive actions
  • Support Talent Mangers and Quality Team in anticipating and dealing with quality issues
  • Flag potential resources for promotion or demotion based on quality results
  • Identify quality verified resources for Content Design Team
  • Drive global quality strategy and establish tools to monitor the quality of formatting work
  • Help to build and design a robust and efficient Quality system as well as the creation of SOPs related to this function
  • Contribute to conceive developments/enhancements and best practices in formatting quality

  • Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

    • Familiar with Content Design/formatting process and challenges (ideally experience as content design specialist/DTPer)
    • Mediation/negotiation skills in working with people from different countries and cultures
    • Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to change
    • High level of commitment and motivation is essential
    • Higher education in translation-related studies, or equivalent experience
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Extensive knowledge of Formatting Monitoring processes
  • Proven skills of analysis, time management, organization, and attention to detail

  • Minimum Required Education And Experience

    • 3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Specialist or Content Design Specialist (formatter) and/or dealing with multilingual projects.
    • Fluent English

    Physical Requirements

    • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
    • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
    • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
