Description
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Contract Manager to support and lead key aspects of our contracting and procurement activity including our main contracts with the Integrated Commissioning Board and a range of sub-contracted services.

Reporting to the Head of Contracts, you’ll provide leadership across contracting, procurement, performance management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring compliance, value for money and alignment with Sirona’s quality, governance and financial objectives.

  • Supporting and managing key ICB and subcontractor contractual requirements
  • Leading high-value tenders and complex procurement exercises, selecting appropriate procurement routes and developing robust evaluation methodologies
  • Drafting, tailoring and negotiating contracts using national templates, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation
  • Conducting market research and assessing pre-tender/provider qualification submissions
  • Supporting the development and compliance of Section 75 partnership agreements
  • Implementing and supporting the contract monitoring framework, attending review meetings and assessing performance with clinical, operational and finance colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with Standing Financial Instructions and Financial Procedures, advising budget holders where required
  • Producing high-quality internal and external reports, including Board-level reporting
  • Providing expert contracting and procurement guidance across finance, quality, clinical and operational teams
  • Supporting FOI compliance and implementation of new procurement and contracting policies
  • Representing Sirona at internal and external meetings and building strong relationships across NHS, local authority and supplier partners
