Furthermore, you and your team will move in a fast-paced engineering environment, achieving outstanding results and delivering exciting projects.

A YLD Software Engineering Consultant is a highly-skilled developer who exemplifies the highest standard in software engineering and enjoys sharing their knowledge and experience with others.
We’re looking for a senior Go engineer who’s not only highly technical but also someone who understands how to translate problems into solutions powered by technology.
You’ll have the opportunity to build and deliver software within some interesting projects in terms of the product and methodology. We work in an Agile environment (Scrum) with a test-first mindset (actually, writing code without tests should be unthinkable). We are also big advocates of pair programming and nothing is released until we have a code review.
You have a real passion for problem-solving, you are an active learner and get excited by working collaboratively with those around you.

- Crafting excellent products! As a Software Engineer, you will be building new features that meet the needs of our client's customers;
- Strong experience with Go (language-agnostic mindset preferred);
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms;
- Proven experience building custom SaaS applications and robust APIs;
- Experience developing or integrating decentralised systems, data infrastructure, or distributed technologies;
- Deep understanding of modern deployment pipelines, including Docker, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Flux;
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and enhance workflows;
- Familiarity with Red Panda and multi-cloud deployment environments is a plus.
- Strategic problem-solver who balances innovation with pragmatic technical choices;
- Thrives in dynamic production environments, managing expectations with clients and peers alike;
- Strong customer focus and commitment to quality;
- A true ambassador of YLD’s brand, upholding excellence and collaboration;
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively;
- Passionate about continuous learning, especially in applying AI to software development.
