Description

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Residential Property team in our Solihull office.

The successful candidate will support two solicitors within the team while also managing their own caseload of residential property matters, primarily sales and transfers of equity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong conveyancing experience, excellent client care skills, and the ability to manage transactions from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist two Residential Property Solicitors with a range of conveyancing transactions.
  • Manage a personal caseload of files, primarily including:
  • Residential sales
  • Transfers of equity
  • Handle files from instruction through to completion where appropriate.
  • Prepare legal documentation and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Conduct title checks, prepare contract packs, and deal with enquiries.
  • Manage completion processes and post-completion tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate case records using the firm’s case management systems.
  • Provide high levels of client service throughout the transaction process.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Skills and Experience

    Essential

    • Previous experience working in a residential conveyancing environment.
    • Experience assisting with or managing conveyancing transactions.
    • Good understanding of the conveyancing transaction process.
    • Excellent client care and communication skills.
    • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple files.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.

    Desirable

    • Experience handling your own caseload of residential matters.
    • Experience with sales and transfers of equity.
    • Interest in marketing, networking, and supporting business development activities.
