The team

The role
We are looking for an Associate to join our successful M&A team as we continue to build the practice.
We encourage breadth of experience, and you will have opportunity to be involved in a mixed diet of work, including private M&A, with some public company matters and private equity.
You will be encouraged and supported to help drive the business and will have a high degree of autonomy and client involvement.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- 2-5 years of PQE, with a strong grounding in corporate law and in particular M&A transactional experience.
- Delivers legal and commercial solutions and establishes collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience.
- Supports the team to manage the client experience, develops trusted relationships and interacts with clients confidently to achieve the best outcome for the client.
- Committed to business development to further grow their network and the practice spotting opportunities and sharing these with the team.
- Works efficiently and commercially and understands the importance of financial hygiene.
- Collaborative and works effectively in a team.
- Understands how to develop junior team members.
- Committed to being part of a supportive, inclusive and collaborative firm culture.
- Experience in W&I will be of interest but not essential.
