Costing Engineer – New Product Introduction

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Tewkesbury is looking for a Costings Engineer within the New Product Introduction team. An important, commercially focused role within the organisation, supporting the business in successfully capturing and maintain profitable business. Responsible for quotations, management of system price lists, administration of new product related tasks within production, NPI project management and maintaining profitable business.

Hourly Rate: £15.67 ( £14.25 + 10% shift premium)

Shift Pattern

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30

Friday : 08:00 - 13:00

The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, supported by excellent communication skills. They will be self‑motivated, capable of working effectively with minimal supervision, and demonstrate strong organisation, time‑management, and the ability to meet deadlines. With a high level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills

, they will approach tasks accurately and efficiently. The candidate will also possess strong IT skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Creation and management of quotations through emails and internal C4C system
• Management and creation of new price lists and price calculators
• Identification and rectification of profitable/unprofitable business
• Supporting the creation of new product bill of materials
• Supporting the creation of new tooling orders

Education And Experience

• Relevant industry background in a similar role, ideally experienced within a customer facing commercial role.
• Experience in working in an office and manufacturing environment

Some level of technical knowledge and understanding is preferred

Experienced with MS progams and proficant within Excel

Hands-on approach; self-motivated, proactive and results-driven

Experience with Data Analytics

Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to Senior Management

Knowledge and experience of SAP is preferable
